Having a firm foundation is as important in your relationship with your contractor as it is in the build itself. You want to choose a company who will keep a close watch on every detail; be able to pro-actively solve the small problems, while sticking to your budget.
Your contractor should also provide regular updates, be quickly available to answer any questions you have – and provide shoulder massages when you feel a bit of stress. Okay – we’re obviously joking with the last one, but it’s their job to make your construct as stress-free as is possible.
